Finally, after considering every possible reason not to depart, we left the comfort of our spot at New England Boatworks bound for Nofolk Virginia.

We have enjoyed our stay on the Chesapeake and made many friends while here. Having cruised both shores as far north as Annapolis the appeal of this area as a most wonderful cruising ground has been confirmed. Bay Point Marina, at Little Creek, has been a terrific place to stay.

What's next? Hard to say.

We are on a truck bound for California. Not what we had planned but what turned out to be the next step.

Arrived at Bay Marine Boatworks in Richmond California. Some bottom paint and a once over on the rig before we head for our new berth in Pelican Harbour in Sausalito.
